For the skeptic — what's real here and what's staged
The conversation script is staged; the persistence is not. The governed agent's carried record is written to this app's database through a storage adapter (SQLite by default, Postgres if configured) and read back on resume — close the tab, reopen tomorrow, and it greets you with your own state. The confabulation on the left is scripted, but it dramatizes a documented failure: a fresh session has nothing to check itself against, so it reconstructs plausibly rather than admitting ignorance.
The disagreement beat matters most: 9 months (legal counsel) vs 4 months (consultant) is carried as an open tension with both sources, not averaged or overwritten by whoever spoke last. How state is represented, carried, and rehydrated is the mechanism — filed, and not shown here.
